Introducing: Pleasure Leftists - Elephant Men

While post-punk will forever remain a very quintessentially British thing, lets face it, those Americans don't do a bad job at giving us their adaptation of it. It's no surprise either that "Elephant Men", the new single from Ohio band Pleasure Leftists, comes from Katorga Works, the same label behind your other favourite new (ish) band, Merchandise.

Along with its concrete grey, almost industrial aesthetic, the songs inch perfect rhythm section is backed with lead singer Haley Morris' ferociously (and at times wailing) assertive vocals. In short, it's the best dose of "Doomsday pop" we've heard in an awful long while.
