Tracks: MØ - Glass

Danish siren is back with new track, "Glass" off the back of previous track, "Pilgrim".

We haven't posted our "Ones to watch for 2013" yet but MØ won't be in it. However, giving points for freshness and alignment with the current market progression, MØ is definitely one to keep an eye on. It's not really surprising when you consider she's signed to the Danish string of Sony. In much the same way as Haim (a rant for another day) on "Poly-Universal-dor", 2013 could be a big year for Karen Ørsted.

"Glass" doesn't really strike the same chord as "Pilgrim" and shows further examples of versatility. Putting the "Danish Grimes" tag aside for a second, this new track could be the first example of a droning 'witch-house' element being worked into more of a mainstream sound. "Glass" sounds like a clean, organised and catchy relative of Salem's best work. Take from that what you will.

You can grab a copy of MØ's debut UK single at the end of February via Chess Club Records.
