New Music: Nightlands - So Far So Long

After releasing his debut album Forget The Mantra back in 2010, The War On Drugs bassist Dave Hartley has unveiled "So Far So Long", the first single from his forthocoming follow up Oak Island.

You know what they say about bass players being the backbone of any band, right? Well it's true, just look at Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor (Cant) as an example. This is another one, delivered in a clouded haze of therapeutic magic. It's superbly mellow.

Oak Island is out on January 22nd via Secretly Canadian, hear "So Far So Long" below.
