Introducing: FEWS - 10 Things

Funny isn't it, when some of the 'newer' bands start sparking influence for kids all over the place. Remember the Wild Beasts sound getting a lot of new band admiration a little while back? Well, now, intended or not, newcomers FEWS have made a favourable start with their debut track "10 Things".

Bringing to mind a striking resemblance of one of our favourite acts of late (that's DIIV, by the way), it's no surprise to see the only person they follow on their Soundcloud account is that of NY's prolifically brilliant Captured Tracks label.

Most notably, "10 Things" incorporates echoed vocals, driving, almost buoyant guitar waves and an ambiance that captures the essence of something profoundly escapist. The lyrics don't matter, it's the vibe that counts, and so, as a debut, we've got to say a huge 'bravo' to Fews.
