New Music: Work Drugs - The Art of Progress

Work Drugs have dropped yet another smooth-fi summer jam in "The Art of Progress", taken from recent LP Absolute Bearing.

The love affair with Work Drugs is showing no signs of slowing and when they're churning out catchy summer haze like "The Art of Progress" it's not going to come as a surprise to anyone.

Here's the bands thought behind the track, tongue in cheek and brilliant as ever:

Originally written in 1994 as a response to U.S. President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin signing the Kremlin accords, which stopped the preprogrammed aiming of nuclear missiles toward each country's targets, and also provided for the dismantling of the nuclear arsenal in Ukraine., For reasons unknown, The Art of Progress was shelved until 2012 for public release.
