New Artist: Ditt Inre - Månljus (saknad)

Any day now we're expecting summer to land on our doorsteps (no, seriously). It is May after all. And with that said it is also about time that the summer minded Cascine label unveiled a welcome addition to their roster. At least we have one of the two, with Stockholm based duo Ditt Inre (Hampus Klint and Einar Andersson) presenting "Månljus (saknad)", the lead track from their forthcoming EP.

Roughly translated as "Moonlight" (missing), the track may be sung in a foreign tongue, yet its wondrous narrative remains so easily accessible to the greater audience. At times bringing forward elements of Chad Valley's sun drenched synth work, all the while conjuring up shades of Washed Out at his most amorous. A subtly beautiful experimentation in modern pop.
