New Music: Sigur Rós - Varúð

Try, try and try again, you just can't deny a Sigur Rós track and new song "Varúð" is yet again another breathtaking example of what we have come to expect.

"Varúð" is another track to be heard from the band's upcoming sixth studio LP, Valtari. We previously were treat to a promo video for "Ekki Múkk" which you can also see below.

Here' a quote from bassist Georg:
"I really can’t remember why we started this record, I no longer know what we were trying to do back then. I do know session after session went pear-shaped, we lost focus and almost gave up...did give up for a while. But then something happened and form started to emerge, and now I can honestly say that it’s the only sigur rós record I have listened to for pleasure in my own house after we’ve finished it."
The track is a radio-rip from it's premier on BBC 6music but never-the-less the quality is there for all to see. You can grab a copy of Valtari via XL on May 28 (UK) and May 29 (U.S)
