Cover: Crushed Beaks - VTOO (Torches)

A couple of weeks ago, London pals Torches & Crushed Beaks set out to cover each others tracks as a sort of split single swap. First up was Torches rather enchanting version of "Close-Ups", which played out our most recent 'Certified New' mix. Now, Crushed Beaks get their own shot at Torches recent track "VTOO".

Not quite a raucous as one may have imagined, the powerful wall of rhythmic drones still shines through. Guitars are still a blaze, yet in a more controlled output which plays out alongside the blazing cries of "it was a red sky that night".
