Introducing: Shinies - Spent Youth

Introducing new Manchester (UK) band Shines and their rip-roarer of a new track, "Spent Youth".

As always there's zip out there on the band, that's what happens when your within only a handful (writers) who've set their ears on a band. What we do know is "Spent Youth" is a - to go all fan boy - tuuuuune!

I can hear a mix of elements when listening to "Spent Youth", but immediately I hear bands like Crocodiles, Ariel Pink and ever to a lesser extent - one of this year's most impressive new acts - Gross Magic. It's psychedelic/noise pop though isn't it, what more do you expect?
