New Music: Starlight Girls - Wasteland

It was around Halloween the last time we spoke about Starlight Girls. They now have a new track, "Wasteland" and it carries on where, "The Hunch" left off.

Like we've already said, previous tracks were a fair bit more fluffy and light around the edges. Not so with "Wasteland", it oozes class, a gritty kind of vintage, timeless class. The lead vocals are the essence of the track, trenchant, totally effortless and emphatically clean. It's an all-round win.

The band are set for an American tour, their debut EP is out January 1 and they will also record their debut LP at the end of January. It's fair to say their busy. Listen to "Wasteland" below.
