New Single: Band Of Skulls - The Devil Takes Care of His Own

More of a re-cap on last week than a new music post but Band of Skulls are back with a new song, "The Devil Takes Care of His Own".

In typically gritty fashion Band of Skulls are back and seem to have continued in almost the same vein as their debut LP, Baby Darling Doll Faced Honey. That's definitely the right way to go for the band as they seem to be honing in on a more polished sound.

Noticeably, a really pleasing progression in the past year or so, is the emergence of more new music showing influences in blues rock (Band of Skulls, Kill It Kid) and grunge (Gross Magic). Let's hope it all continues so we can thoroughly shake off that previous trend of diluted and lazy, indie pop.
