New Artist: The Bookhouse Boys - With You

New artist is the wrong tag for The Bookhouse Boys, 'emerging' is much more suitable. Although I'm sure they're still new to a lot of people out there.

I saw The Bookhouse Boys play our local micro festival "Middlesbrough Music Live" back in 2008 and was blown away by their performance of "Dead".



At the time, I wondered how long it would be before I saw some serious releases from the band. Here we are in 2011 and the time is now.

The Bookhouse Boys debut LP Tales To Be Told was released May 2 (grab it here) and since then they've gone on to release first track "Guns Like Drums" and now "With You" is currently enjoying a good old spell on BBC 6Music.

The band make the kind of music you would expect to hear in a Tarantino film, raucous, moody number's full of relentless emotion. Watch the video for "With You" below.
