New Artist: Bos Angeles - Beach Slalom

Hailing from the sunny (that's debatable, mind) seaside town of Bouremouth, newcomers Bos Angeles could well be contenders for the 'soundtrack of summer 2011' award with their debut "Beach Slalom".

The trio of Dick, Ben and Jamie make up Bos Angeles (great name, by the way) and have a single show lined up at the end of May. Details of which you can find here. 

The driven bass in "Beach Slalom" reminds me of when The Drums stole the show in 2009 with "Lets Go Surfing". But, of course, the track in question is a different kind of addiction all together. It's melancholic summer-shoegaze style wouldn't be a suprise inclusion in Captured Tracks' (you know, Beach Fossils, Wild Nothing, Catwalk and the like) next release. Yep kids, it's that good.
