Introducing: Rockets - Toad
Rockets are a new band from Sydney, Australia, who last month released their debut single "Toad" (listen below).
Their bio reads: "stories told over coffee and cigarettes" - which I like, and their track "Toad" is rather impressive too. Its a melodic, progressive number that has more intensity to it than, say, some California shoegaze acts we could list. But there is elements in there, albeit infused what you may consider to be more traditional elements of rock & roll.
