Remix: Tame Impala - Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind (Erol Alkan Re-Work)

What a coincidence? First I post this remix yesterday..... and now comes another great remix, or re-work as they seem to be getting named these days.

Erol Alkan is a wizard at this kind of thing, late last year he took MGMT - Congratulations and turned a rather dreary original (obviously meant to be that way) into a dance floor gem.

Anyway, he has now turned his hand to..... I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "the best band of the year 2010"... Tame Impala and their track 'Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind' which is off the massive slab of geometric psych rock brilliance that was 'Innerspeaker'. Anyone who hasn't heard of, or bought this clearly was under a rock in terms of music last year.

Why Erol has a knack of creating good remixes is because he manages to keep the soul and essence of the track present, while making subtle changes. We are sent a lot of remixes daily and they all fail to hold onto the essence of the original and that's why we NEVER post them.
