New Music: Jamie xx (or what he eventually decides to go by) - Far Nearer

There have been rumours flying about all over that Jamie (producer of The xx) was going to embark on a solo conquest off the back of The xx's huge debut LP success.


Anywhoooo, its not a rumour, it's true and he featured 'Far Nearer' on XFM the other night, it will be out next month on Numbers Records and in terms of musical style, it's got a sick calypso theme going on. We think that any doubters of The xx's longevity should take note and maybe not expect anything too similar to 'XX' on their next LP. Check it out and see what you think....
