New Music: Panda Bear - Tomboy

It has now been confirmed that the new album from Animal Collective member Panda Bear (Noah Lennox) is going to be released at some point in September and will be interestingly named "Tomboy". It will be his first release in 3 years and he is now set to release a single on July 13th. The release will feature songs, "Tomboy" and "Slow Motion". From these two tracks there is also going to be numerous limited edition 7" releases.

From listening to "Tomboy" it's easy to see that guitars are going to be featured a lot more than in previous releases and thiscould be a step in the right direction. On top of this, the fact that in the last three years Animal Collective blew up big time, will have helped Panda Bear to gain some new and diverse ideas for future work.

Here's the first single, "Tomboy". Oh and a word of warning, don't expect to love this straight away, if your not familiar with Panda Bear or Animal Collective.
