Band In Focus: Winter Gloves

Winter Gloves are Canadian "indie rock band" (I really dislike the use of that supposed genre). The line up goes:

Vocals, Organ & Wurlitzer: Charles F.
Synth Bass & Keyboards: Vincent Chalifour
Drums: Patrick Sayers
Guitars: Nico Ormiston

The band came about after Charles F recorded some Synth tracks as an experiment for his MySpace page. After getting some good feedback it was decided that the band should carry on. Their first release was the Let Me Drive EP, the title track featured as an "iTunes single of the week". Like with most bands this was followed up with an LP entitled 'About a Girl' which was released in 2008 and the band accompanied this by touring with the likes of Tokyo Police Club, Thunderheist and You Say Party! We Say Die!

Currently the band have just put the finishing touches on their new sophmore LP, which will go by the name 'All Red' and is slated for release on September 7th through Paper Bag Records. With that in mind, this is why we have decided to have a band in focus on Winter Gloves. Here is a 'just starting out track' and some new tracks from 'All Red'. Look out for 'Plastic Slides' it's the first single from the LP and it's too good...
